 Tucked away in the southwestern corner of China, Yunnan is very different from the rest of China and is also one of the most alluring. Kunming has been described as the Spring City with it’s year round pleasant climate, Dali is one of the best places to meet the ethnic minorities and Lijiang is without doubt the highlight of Yunnan if not China. Its old city criss-crossed by narrow alleys and ancient canals has been listed by UNESCO as a world heritage sites.

Day 01 ARRIVE KUNMING/DALI
Fly to Kunming.
Upon arrival, met & assist to connect flight to Dali. Upon arrival, met & transfer to Asian Star.

Day 02 DALI/LIJIANG
Dali is the center of many ethnic minorities and in particular, the Bai minority. In the morning, visit the morning market, the Bai Minority Village and the residence of Zhouzheng. This afternoon, enjoy a walking tour of the Old City.
Late afternoon, drive about 3 hours to Lijiang and check into Jiananchun Hotel, a hotel converted from one of the traditional houses right in the heart of Old Lijiang.

Day 03 LIJIANG
This morning, we explore the outskirt of Lijiang. Drive through lovely sceneries and visit the villages of Yuhu (Jade Lake), Baisha (for the mural) and Longquan as well as the home of explorer Joseph Rock. You will enjoy a lunch in a farmhouse in Longquan.
In the afternoon, visit the Black Dragon Pond. Explore this scenic area including a visit to the Dongba Research Institute. Also, you will enjoy a walking tour of the Old Town including ascending Lion Hill for a bird’s eye view of the town.
This evening, enjoy a show with the excellent Yunnan cultural show.

Day 04LIJIANG/KUNMING
Fly back to Kunming. Upon arrival, met & transfer directly to the Stone Forest.

Day 05DEPART KUNMING
Transfer to the airport for flight out.
