DAY 01:
ARRIVAL HANOI
Arrival Hanoi Noi Bai

Clear Immigration and Customs.
Collect baggage and transport to hotel
Lunch at local restaurant.
Afternoon Visit the Thanh Xuan
Peace Village in Hanoi. This village was built with the assistance of the
German government 11 years ago. It cares for disable children victimzed by
the “Agent Orange” herbicide used during the war, which is still in the land
of some “hot sports” in various parts of the country. We plan to make a
donation of several pieces of exercise equipment for the physical therapy
room. Drive back to hotel. At leisure.
DAY 02: HANOI CITY & AROUND(B)
Early morning walking tour of Hoan Kiem Lake. Great photo opportunities with
thousands of people doing tai-chi and exercise in the early morning hours

Travel back to hotel . Free time

DAY 03: HANOI (B)

Shopping & sightseeing
Walk market
Dinner at Hoa Suu School for Disadvantage Youth. Founded in 1995, with the
support of UNICEFand CPFC, this school operates a non profit restaurant as a
training program for street children. These children are taught Enlish and
French, cooking skills, serving skills, as well as skills in embroidery,
sewing,…
DAY 04: HANOI - CATBA ISLAND(B,L)

Check-out and depart by ground for Hai Phong
Arrive at Hoa Phuong Village Orphanage. This orphanage located in Hai
Phong, is home of 50 kids from birth to 18 years old. We will have lunch
with children at the orphanage during their lunch break from school.
Team departs for Cat Ba Island by private boat. Cat Ba Island is 20 miles
from Hai Phong by boat, located on the southern end of Ha Long Bay.

DAY 05: HALONG BAY (B,L)
Walk to morning market and watch the fishing boats trading their
nightly catches.

Boat tour of Ha Long Bay, one of the World’s Wonders with over 3,000 islands
of dolomite and limestone
Lunch on board.

DAY 06: HANOI - HUE(B)

Check out hotel and depart by ground for Hanoi Noi Bai Airport.
Stop at nonprofit handicraft center for the handicapped people
Team departs on flight to Hue

DAY 07: HUE -DONGHA (B,L)

Visit landmine project by “Clear Path International”
Lunch with children at “Compassion Homes”
Tour DMZ area including the Quang Tri ancient citadel, 17th parallel.

DAY 08: HUE - SAIGON(B)

Team depart on flight from Hue to Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City)

DAY 09: VUNGTAU(B)
Breakfast at hotel
Trip by speedboat in Vung Tau
with children from Go Vap Orphanage. Vung Tau, known as Cap St. Jacques
during colonial times, is a popular beach resort located 80 miles from
Saigon. Hydrofoil service from Saigon takes 45 minutes each way. The orphans
from Go Vap are students of the “Teaching English” program . Go Vap
orphanage in Saigon has 250 orphans, with over 100 infants suffered from
life-threstening illnesses (HIV/AIDS hydrocephalus, down syndrom,…)

DAY 10: SAIGON(B)
Breakfast at hotel
Optional Visit the Picasso Orphanage in Thu Duc : this orphanage is founded
and managed by the niece of the famous artist. Located in Thu Duc, just
outside of Saigon. Dalat is known as a vacation destination for wealthy and
famous people, and a favorite for honeymooners. Trip from Saigon takes 8
hours by ground and 1 hour by air
DAY 11: SAIGON(B)

DAY 12: CUCHI TUNNELS & CAODAI TEMPLS (B,D)
Tour Tay Ninh – Cu Chi. Visit the Great Cao Dai Holy See in Tay Ninh, an
unique and colorful religion, and the Cu Chi tunnels which were used as the
“underground village” by the guerillas during the war. Farewell dinner
