recent trip (our 4th) to
Vietnam was made exceptional
because of the wonderful
care and bookings you made
for us. The 'culinary tour'
(now shown

the gourmet tour) exceeded
our expectations. We're
anxious to try making some
of the wonderful happy
crepes and spring rolls a la
Mrs. Cuc. The guides in
Hanoi (Mr. Phuong) and Hue/HoiAn
(Mr. Vinh) were absolutely
perfect. I've sent my thanks
to each personally. We are
interested in the boat, Vat
Phou, on the Mekong to Laos.
After the boat trip we would
continue to Hanoi and would
like to go to Sapa. Please

wonderful trip at Sapa during

you arranged for us was
excellent. He was friendly,
patient, knowledgeable and
responsible. The drivers that

Dear Dzung,
Great
trip! We all enjoyed it.
Visiting Lisu Lodge was a good
experience. The weather
was good so we didn't need A/C.
We saw 4 groups, the Lisu, the
Hmong, the Ahka, and the Karen.
We really like Chiangmai as it
is a lot easier because of the
traffic.

for getting the lady guides.
Both were very good and it made
Chris happy to have another
female along. Both
Hathaicinok (Natalie) and Meyo
went out of their way to be
helpful. I would most definitely
recommend them.
Weather
wise were again very fortunate.
We had rain only when it was
going to impact what we were
doing, i.e., it rained at night
or while we were driving.
The exception was when we were
riding the boat between the
Royal Orchid and the Oriental to
have dinner. We hit a
monsoon, but luckily the porters
had beach umbrellas to get us
inside. Quite the
experience.
On the way
to the elephant training center
we stopped at the elephant
hospital. What a nice
thing that lady has done.
We are all glad Natalie
suggested the stop as it was one
of the highlights of the trip
and something everyone back here
wants to know about. The
elephant training center was
also very interesting.
Hoa Hin
beach and the Sofitel were a
delight at the end of the trip.
It was a nice place to relax and
do very little. We only
spent 1/2 hour walking the town
all the rest of the time was
around the pool / beach or at
the spa. That hotel is
really very lovely with the old
world elegance. The
internet there is much good
though and I gave them bad
comments on that.
We need to
do Thailand again and have more
time to shop. We've seen
enough temples at this point.
They were really beautiful and
outstanding structures.
But, as you know we like to shop
and we didn't really do any in
Bangkok or anywhere else except
Chiangmai. The shopping
there was good but we needed
more time. We had a
problem with weight for our
luggage ( 20 kg for the flight
on Thai Air between Chiangemai
and Bangkok) so we couldn't buy
very much.
Again,
thanks for all your work getting
us organized. It could
have been a lot easier and it is
our fault for not getting
organized sooner.

Hello Mrs Kim,
Sorry for the delay in getting this
back to you. We had a
wonderful time in Vietnam.
Your country is so interesting and
the people so friendly.
Guides were very friendly, helpful
and had an excellent local
knowledge. It was good to have
someone to rely on to sort out any
enquiries as far as forward travel
goes and ensuring that we were
comfortable and happy. We felt
that we could trust our guides and
that they had our best interests at
heart. We liked that we had
quite a bit of free time but could
spend that relaxing rather than
trying to work out how to get
around. It was good to have
the tours and guides to cover the
general knowledge of the city and
history of the area.
Hotels were of excellent quality.
We would certainly recommend your
tours to others.

having to wait a day in Bangkok for
our flight back to Israel.
Our visit in Vietnam was WONDERFUL!
The tour to Sapa was GREAT, and so
was our stay in Hanoi.
I have to apologize for nagging you
about the Melia. The Guoman hotel
was very-very good. We enjoyed each
and every minute in it!
Your entire service was EXCELLENT!
Both Ariella and me were very
pleased with all you did for us, and
needless to say that we'll recommend

all the letters we had written to
each other it was important for me

Just had to let you know that we
thoroughly enjoyed our trip.
All the hotels were good. Hoi An
were wonderful, what a beautiful
place.
On the whole we had a fantastic
time, and what a way to end our trip
with a cruise in Halong Bay
absolutely breathtaking. The service
on board was excellent and our guide
whose name was Sy was very helpful
and his knowledge of Vietnam and his
very good English was a real treat.

Dear Dzung,
We have been back from our trip to
Vietnam for a few weeks now and it
seems like it was a dream. Our
excursions to the Perfume Pagoda,
Halong Bay, Sapa and Keng Ha
Floating Village were all
breathtaking. Hanoi is a beautiful,
vibrant city and we found the people
to be very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for helping us to organize
a very interesting tour. Our guides
were very knowledgeable, helpful and
patient as we made numerous stops
along the road for photographs.
Our photos will help us to remember
the emerald waters of Halong Bay and
kayaking through caves leading to
peaceful lakes surrounded by
mountains. The faces and costumes of
the ethnic minority peoples of Sapa
and surrounding villages will always
be remembered along with the
terraced rice fields of this
mountainous region.
All transfers and connections
organized by Discovery Indochina
went smoothly from airport pickups
to Victoria Express train rides &
pickups to the various small boat
trips during our stay in the north.
We will always have fond memories of
our time in Vietnam and will be
happy and confident to recommend
your company to friends.

and the driver. Luc was very
informative about daily life in

The Victoria Can Tho hotel was very

the floating markets.
Everything went as organized and we

the river on both days had

day back at work has been quite a

morning on our arrival to introduce
himself and explain the itinerary –
we did not expect this level of
service and we think it was superb.
He also traveled back to Lao Cai
with us and the driver to ensure we

Hello Dzung,
First of all I am sorry it has taken
so long to write. We arrived home on
December 8th and it has been hectic
ever since. However, the memories of
our wonderful trip to Vietnam are
still vivid in our minds (Jochen
took nearly 1000 photos!) and Jochen
and I want to thank you for all your
hard work and organization. We were
in Vietnam and Cambodia for a little
over 4 weeks and everything you
arranged for us was perfect. Someone
was always there to assist us and
the guides were all informative and
fun! As you know, we were a little
nervous about making all our
arrangements with someone on the
internet whom we didn't know. But
you promised us we would be well
taken care of and you kept your
promise. You did a fabulous job for
us. We loved your country and it's
people from the minority tribes of
Sapa to Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh City
and everyplace in between. We will

cope with daily life after the
lovely days we spent in Vietnam. I

much - I for myself must say that
especially the trip up to Sa Pa

We have not arrived home after our
Cambodia & Vietnam trip and I would

First of all - It was a very
interesting trip and we learned a
lot about of your country and of
Cambodia.
Siem-Reap - Our guide was very
professional and had great
knowledge. His English was also very
good. Take good care of this guide
he is worth a lot for you.
Phnom Penh - Our guide was a nice
person and did his best.
Ho Chi Minh City - Our guide - A
young bright guy, he was little shy
to begin with.We liked him very
much. This guide has big potential
when he get more experienced.
Danang - and Hue - Our guide was a
nice young man. He did his best.
The hotel Furama Resort was
excellent.
Hanoi - Our guide was very
good and have good knowledge. His
English was also good. A very nice
person. This guide - keep him and
take good care of him.
Overall we are very satisfied with
our trip; all transfers worked
perfect, we were able to see what we
wanted to see. The drivers were
good.

Dear Dzung,
Just to thank you for all your hard
work, help and efficiency in booking
our great trip to Vietnam and
Cambodia. Your rapid response
was always appreciated. As our
children grow older it becomes
harder to find things that all four
of us are likely to enjoy together,
but Vietnam and Cambodia pleased us
all. We especially enjoyed the boat
trips in Halong Bay and the Mekong
Delta, the beautiful Victoria Hotel
in Phanthiet, the view of HCMC from
the 7th floor of the Majestic Hotel,
the historic sites and Vietnam's
and Cambodia's interesting history
and, of course, the shopping!
In fact too many excellent memories
and sites to list.
Our guides were all impressive -
always on time with a good command
of English, helpful and excellent
local knowledge.
We are even talking about coming
back again in the not too distant
future.
May I wish you a very happy, healthy
and peaceful 2005. We can only
hope and pray that the terrible
events of 26th December in SE Asia
are helped and healed in as
