Dear Dzung,
Back home, going through a mountain of mail and chores. With the Christmas
season here, I'm also decorating the house and putting up a Christmas tree.
I love the smell of the fresh tree in the house.
We had an outstanding trip....except that we missed having you along with
us. The itinerary you planned for us in China was great. The Lugu Lake
area was so exciting and we all wanted to spend more time in Lijiang. We
also had some nice visit to Miao houses and villages in Guizhou. While the
guide we had in Kunming, Joe, was a bit superficial, both Miss Yin and Mr
Yang were outstanding. Not only was their English good but they truly
understood what we were interested in seeing and went out of their way to
help us. Our meals and accommodations were also good. It was really cold
in both Lijiang and Lugu Lake, but we managed.
Wishing you and your family all the best in the New Year. Tell your mother
we are counting on her to make a full recovery in time for the Year of the
Rat

Dear Ms Huyen,
It is already a month since we returned home from our very wonderful trip to Vietnam ending with a weekend in Siemreap. Even though this letter is well overdue we nonetheless wanted express our thanks and appreciation for your excellent service and the planning of such a very successful trip for us. You found us good, well-located hotels,(especially the Zephyr, the Hoi An and the best possible ending to such a trip, the Prince d'Angkor!) you provided us not only with some superb guides but also extremely pleasant ones. The cars were very comfortable and the drivers were excellent.
Our first five days we were accompanied by Giap (the northern part of our trip to Sapa and Halong Bay). He has good sense of humour that enhanced our experience. Like Giap, Tsien (our guide in Saigon) was also a pleasure to be with.
This has certainly been among our most memorable trips and we have spent the last month sharing our experiences, photos and stories with all our friend here in Israel and very much tempting them to do the same!
We left Vietnam with the good impression of a beautiful people, amiable, pleasant, positive and forward going, and a people filled with optimism for a prosperous future.
With much thanks once again,
Sue and Ray Parnes

Dear Mr Dzung,
Thank you very much for putting so a good tour together for us on our recent visit to Vietnam.
All the arrangements worked very well and I apologise for the confusion over the hotel which was soon sorted out.
The boat trip to Halong Bay was perfect with a very comfortable boat (good accommodation, good food, good service) and good weather.
It was a beautiful place and we particularly enjoyed the kayaking in the outer islands where we managed to loose most of the other boats.
Quang the guide was very good.
The trip walking at Sapa we also enjoyed but the weather wasn't quite so kind as it was cloudy.
However we enjoyed our walks through the mountain villages and Thuy did a great job looking after us and cooking our picnics.
Once again many thanks for giving us such a memorable holiday in Vietnam. Please pass on our thanks to your team of staff as well.
Best wishes from Philip and Philippa Balfour

I have been meaning to write to thank you for organising such a wonderful trip on such short notice.
We enjoyed it immensely. The hotels were in very well located - we especially enjoyed the ones in Hoi An and Hue.
We were very lucky with the weather - heavy rains and flooding followed our visit.
Thank you.

Dear Ms Huyen
I wanted to take a moment to thank you for arranging my tour through Cambodia and Vietnam. It was the most memorable trip I have ever had in my life, one I will remember forever and share with my friends and family. You did a tremendous job of ensuring that I had good and friendly guides who explained all the wonderful things I was seeing and answered questions I had on safety and etiquette.
Being a single woman traveling alone through countries where I unfortunately know little of the language and customs this guidance and care was important to me. I felt safe in each guides hands and would gladly recommend your service to others.
Thank you so much for all your kind service and help.

Dear Mr Dzung
Well Moya and I are now back in London and back to work after having a fantastic time in Cambodia and Vietnam.
Once again you and your guides exceeded expectation. Lim Dara in Cambodia was very good. Giap who we spent a lot of time with was a pleasure. Not only did he have a wealth of knowledge, but he had a very good sense of humour. We really enjoyed the week we spent with him.
If you hadn't sorted out Moya's Vietnam visa issue for us, I fear that we would have spent all our time in Cambodia. The way you resolved this for us was excellent and we really appreciate that you ensured our trip resumed without missing anything on our itinerary.
My father has told me that you are sorting out their trip to Myanmar, something he has talked about for some time. I couldn't think of anyone else that could organise their trip in a professional and safe manner. Your service is great.
So once again we thank you , and you never know we may be back in Vietnam for a third time!!

Dear Ms. Pham Thi,
Thank you so very much for arranging our wonderful trip.
My sister and I had a fantastic vacation. You were very responsive to all of our requests.
All of our guides and drivers were wonderful, except for the one in Hanoi.
We could not have asked for a better trip. The hotels were also good.
The Rex was a little "old" in decor, but the staff were so nice and friendly,
that it did not matter. The Prince in Cambodia and the Hoi An were our favorites!
I will be recommending your company to a friend of mine who is thinking of planning a trip for Oct.
I hope to return.
Thank you so much again.

Dear Ms Pham Thi
It has now been 10 days since our return home to Australia.
Our group had the most wonderful time, your country is well
worth seeing and I cannot commend your efforts and Discovery Indochina for
a well organised trip. The hotels chosed were in perfect locations. We
only had a few hiccups which were easily fixed.
Just a couple of things I would like to make you aware of so you will know
in the future when booking other travellers. I made a special request for
kayaking on Halong bay, we didn"t get to do this, we were told that the
kayaking was only included if staying for 2 nights. Our tour guide Mr. Giap
was excellent, spoke quite good english and was very informative
and helpful.
HCMC was absolutely fabulous and our trip on the Mekong was unreal. Our hotel in Saigon the Amara was lovely a nice way to finish our holiday. We are certainly going to recommend yourself and Discovery Indochina to
everyone who intends on travelling to Vietnam. Once again thank you for
everything you did for us, and it was just lovely to meet you after all our correspondence via email. We do intend on travelling again to Vietnam
so I will certainly be in touch.

What a fabulous trip thanks to wonderful guides & well laid out itinerary!
I wrote to Discovery Indochina many times & changed things until we got the perfect trip. They were so accommodating & their suggestions of what to do, where to stay, were great. We were happy to learn that the Vietnamese people were so welcoming to Americans & they are the most hopeful, friendly people. The country is beautiful, especially our junk trip on Halong bay. We can't begin to praise the tour which was set up just for my husband & I & was reasonable in price & great fun. The flight is very long but worth it. That was the only down side.
