Upon arrival, you
would be met and transferred to hotel.
This afternoon, we visit the Tribal Research Institute on the
Chiangmai University for the hilltribes museum before spending
our time at Doi Suthep situated on a hill overlooking Chiangmai
and the surrounding valley.
Tonight, you will be treated to a traditional Khantok dinner
with cultural performance.

This morning, visit
the famous handicraft village and factories where you will see
the local silk and cotton weaving industry and observe how deft
fingers transform bamboo, paper, silk and paint into beautiful
umbrellas and learn more about the skills in woodcarving and how
to make lacquered boxes and silverware. |

Day 03 |
CHIANGMAI/LISU LODGE(B,L,D) |
Get ready for your
adventure today! Drive about 1 hour to reach Lisu Lodge. Check
in and after some rest, a 13 km mountain bike cycling through
the countryside along the Mae Taeng River to the elephant camp.
From here, enjoy a ride on elephant back through the jungle,
followed by a picnic served by the river.
After lunch, embark on a 1-hour raft down Mae Taeng River,
through placid waters and occasional light rapids, to the
beautiful village of Muang Gurt. Have some rest before visiting
an Akha village with you have the chance to know more about
their interesting lifestyle and beliefs.
Return to the lodge and tonight, be entertained by the music and
dances of the Lisu tribe.
Lisu Lodge is an award winning lodge, which blends the Lisu
tribe design and modern amenities harmoniously. There are 4
bungalows with 6 rooms each. Each room has comfortable
mattresses (laid on hilltribe-style bamboo "sleeping platform"),
large mosquito net, fan and private bathroom with hot showers
and western-style flush toilets and wash basin.

Day 04 |
LISU LODGE/CHIANGMAI(B) |
After a leisurely
breakfast, tour the Lisu Village to see their way of life. Enjoy
an oxcart ride through the village, passing through the mountain
farmlands, orchards, forest before returning to Chiangmai in the
afternoon and check into your hotel.
The rest of the day is free at leisure. Pamper yourself with a
spa treatment! |

for relaxation (if you are flying by Thai Airways). In the
