Itinerary in detail:

 

 

DAY 01 : UPON ARRIVAL CHIANG RAI                           -/-/-

Meet and greet then transfer to your hotel. After fresh up, tour to Chiang Rai town.

Visit Wat Rong Khun or known as the White Temple created by Master Chalermchai Kisitphipat one of the best artist of Thailand. Later on, visit Wat Phra Singh the house of Phra Buddha Si Hing the most ancient Lord Buddha Image for 2000 yrs. Then drive around the city for 1 hr before return to your hotel.

DAY 02 : CHIANG RAI – MAE SAI – GOLDEN TRIANGLE – CHIANG MAI            B/L/-

Today morning meet the local tour guide then travel to Mae Sai Border (2 hrs from Chiang Mai) This is not only the most important border market but also it is the easiest way for any tourist who want to visit Myanmar the mystic country (tourist pays immigration fee THB 500.- on own for one day crossing to Myanmar) Lunch at local restaurant before continue to Chiang Saen or known as the Golden Triangle where the three borders of Myanamr – Laos – Thailand are met. Later on, visit the Opium house nearby before drive to Chiang Mai. After check in, free at your leisure.

DAY 03 : CHIANG MAI                                 B/L/D

Breakfast at the hotel

Today morning you will be transferred to Doi Suthep Mountain the symbol of Chiang Mai where Doi Suthep Temple is located.  This is not only the most beautiful Lanna temple but also it is used as the house of Lord Buddha relic. Nearby we will take you the Doi Pui where the Meo village locates their community. Lunch at local restaurant before continue to Bosang & Sankhamphaeng or called Local Handicraft Village where you can see how the paper umbrella and nice handicraft are made closely. Return to the hotel in the afternoon and free at your leisure til 6.30 pm  Then you will be pick up and transferred to Chiang Mai Thai Cultural centre (by SIC) for welcome dinner + hill tribe show called Khantoke. After show, return to your hotel or drop at Chiang Mai Night Bazaar for your own exploration

DAY 04 : CHIANG MAI ELEPHANT SAFARI                  B/L/-

Breakfast at the hotel

Today morning tour to Mae Taman Elephant Camp.

See the elephant at works and enjoyed riding on elephant passing through the scenery forest for 45 minutes. Lunch at the camp before take a bamboo rafting along Mae Tang the lazy river for 1hr 30 min. Return to the camp by ox-cart along the track you will see the plantation & rice field (depended on the season) On the way to the hotel, stop to visit Nursery orchid farm.

DAY 05 : CHIANG MAI – DEPARTURE                   B/-/-

Breakfast at the hotel.

Free at your leisure until the time transfer to the airport for flight depart to the next destination.
