ITINERARY IN DETAILS:

DAY 01: ARRIVAL SAIGON
Greet and meet upon your arrival at the Hochiminh  airport. You will be transferred to the hotel. Tonight we will go to sample the Vietnamese culinary delights. Overnight at the hotel in Hochiminh city.

DAY 02:  MEKONG DELTA (B,L)
Today we will have a trip to Mekong Delta, the trip starts at 08.00 a.m.We drive  through Mekong Delta to  to Caibe, floating market where we board our private boat for a cruise along the mazes of bobbling laden bazaar. boat through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch complete with tropical fruits. Enjoy Mekong Detla style lunch in lush vegetation. Continue our way for another cruise to visit bonsais gardens and meet with local peole and sample their local culture and get insight into Detla life.  Afternoon return to Saigon Overnight at the hotel in Hochiminh city.

DAY 03: SAIGON + CUCHI TUNNELS (B,L)
Today we will do the  tour with  visit Independence Palace and War crime Museum, BenThanh market, China town. In the afternoon,  drive to  the famous Cu Chi tunnels.  This network of over 200 kms of tunnels became legendary during the 1960's. The Cu Chi tunnels played a vital part in the American war in that they allowed the Viet Cong to control a large rural area only 30-40 kms from Saigon.  At its height, the tunnel system stretched from Saigon to the Cambodian border.

DAY 04: FIGHT TO HANOI, VISIT HANOI (B,L)
Today we will have a trip to Mekong Delta, the trip starts at 08.00 a.m.
We drive  through Mekong Delta to  to Caibe,  floating market where we board our private boat for a cruise along the mazes of bobbling laden bazaar. boat through the lush green vegetation of the canals to an orchard, where we are treated to a delicious lunch complete with tropical fruits. DAY 05: VISIT HANOI + NIGHT TRAIN TO SAPA (B,L)
Morning transfer to airport for the flight to Hanoi. Upon arrival to Hanoi you will meet our local guide Mr. Kha for a tour of Hanoi. Visit Museum of Ethnology, temple of literature temple.  Lunch will be Chaca restaurant. After noon cyclo through the mazes of old quarter to Ngoc Son temple. The Old Quarter with its bustling streets are home to hundreds of small thriving businesses, each street denoting its trade, such as Tin Street or Fish Street Tonight we take the train to Sapa. The train leaves at 22.00pm.

DAY 06:  SAPA VILLAGES (B,D)

The train arrives at the Lao Cai train station at approximately 06:00. There will be a vehicle waiting to transfer us to Sapa.  The drive to Sapa is only 33 km but it takes around 1.5 hours to make our way up the mountains. Once at Sapa, we will check into Victoria Sapa hotel , we have a freshen up and breakfast at the hotel. At 10am  from the hotel there will be a walking tour to the hill tribe villages of Cat Cat, and Sinchai villages home to the Hmong  hill tribes minority peoples. As we walk to the villages nestled in the valley below Sapa, we will meet some of the local minority people on their way to and from Sapa. Here we have the opportunity to share cultural experiences with the families that live in the area.  Homestay iin Sinchai Village

DAY 07: SAPA TRIBAL VILLAGES -  TRAIN BACK TO HANOI (B,L)

Following breakfast at the hotel we embark on a lovely  walk  that will take us along small paths and trails and through several hill tribe villages of Lao Chai and Tavan, home to H'mong, and Dzay people. This is a absolutely spectacular walk through stunning scenery inhabited by some of the friendliest people you can meet. Stopping for a picnic lunch on the way at a family in Ta Van village. We continue onto  Caumay village an Supan villages, home of Red Dzao people we our jeep take us back to Sapa. At leisure to enjoy Sapa town and hotel facility

DAY 08:  HANOI, HALONG CRUISE (B,L,D)

Pick up from your hotel.
Welcome on board of Halong Ginger and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Ginger restaurant. If weather permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.

DAY 09:  HALONG CRUISE  (B,L)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit. Return on board for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi.

DAY 10 DEPARTURE (B)
Leisure time until transfer to your departure flight.
