ITNERARY IN DETAILS:
DAY 01: ARRIVAL BANGKOK. CONNECT FLIGH TO CHIENGRAI
After landing at Bangkok International airport, catch your connecting flight to Chieng Mai.
Greet upon your arrival at Chieng Mai airport and transfer to your hotel.
DAY 02: LUANGSAY CRUISE. (B,L,D)
Transfer to Houeisay pier for Luang Say boat cruise. LuangSay boat leaves HoueiSay pier at 09h00 hrs for a cruise down the Mekong to Pakbeng. En route one stop is made to observe rural life along the Mekong and discover minorities, a buffet lunch on board. Arrive in Pakbeng before sunset and check-in at LuangSay Lodge. Dinner on the terrace, overlooking the Mekong River.
DAY 03: ARRIVAL LUANGPRABANG. OVERNIGHT LA RESIDENCE(B)
Full breakfast at lodge. (Optional: walk to Pakbeng market, where people from the surrounding village of minorities exchange their goods). At 08h30 board the boat for the second leg of the cruise. A short stop is made to visit a hilltribe village where you can watch the traditional process of Lao whiskey production before having a buffet lunch on board. Continue to Pak Ou village at the mouth of the Nam Ou River, where you visit Tam Ting “Caves of a Thousand Buddha’s”. Arrive at Luang Prabang before sunset.
DAY 04: LUANGPRABANG. OVERNIGHT LA RESIDENCE(B)
Luang Prabang is perhaps the best-preserved traditional city in Southeast Asia. The tranquility and charm of this town with its splendid natural scenery and cultural sights make it one of the most delightful places to visit in Laos. Today we visit the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham, Wat Mai; we then climb up to the top of Phousi Mount for an enjoyable exploration of the sacred, gilded stupa as well as a beautiful sunset view of the city and the Mekong River. From there, we explore Street Night Market, where you can find the lovely collection and handmade textile by local and hill tribe people surrounding Luang Prabang. Overnight in Luang Prabang
DAY 05: LUANGPRABANG. OVERNIGHT LA RESIDENCE(B)
After breakfast, we enjoy a short-guided tour seeing the city’s oldest temple of Wat Sene and the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roofs sweeping low to the ground, which represent the classical architecture of Luang Prabang temple. We then board a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, which also gives us a beautiful view of the tranquil countryside as well as an interesting visit to the mysterious of Pak Ou Caves, crammed with thousands of gold lacquered Buddha statues of various shapes and sizes. Along the way, we stop at the village of Ban Xanghai, where they make the distillation of local rice wine. On return, we take a short drive to Ban Phanom, well known for its hand weaving. DAY 06: LUANGPRABANG -HANOI. OVERNIGHT SOFITEL METROPOLE,CLASSIC ROOM.(B)
Before transfer to airport for your flight to Hanoi QV 868 1445 1535 ( on Mon, Sat, Thu, Wed) and other days: 1645 1745 , we have a visit to the National Museum at the former Royal Palace, which displays a lovely collection of the artifacts reflecting the richness of Lao culture dating from the days of the early kings right through the last sovereign. Overnight in Hanoi.
DAY 07: HANOI-HALONG BHAYA CRUISE (B,L,D)
Pick up from your hotel.
Welcome on board of Halong Bhaya cruise and set sail through bay while lunch is served. Passage into the magical bay, where thousands of sculpted limestone islands rise from the waves like dragons’ teeth. Opportunity to visit beautiful limestone grotto, go swimming or sunbathing. Enjoy cocktails while watching sunset and later unwind at Bhaya restaurant. If weather permits, a short night cruise could bring you a nice discovery of the sea life by night.
DAY 08: HALONG BAY - HANOI. OVERNIGHT SOFITEL METROPOLE, CLASSIC ROOM (B)
Greet the day with a morning Tai Chi exercise with an opportunity to view the sunrise over the bay. After breakfast, a short trek to a nearby summit. Return on board for a final glimpse of the Halong Bay while cruising back to the dock. Drive back to Hanoi.
DAY 09: HANOI CITY TOUR, WATER PUPPET. SOFITEL METROPOLE, CLASSIC ROOM (B)
This tour takes you around Hanoi's most interesting sights, including the Old Quarter, also known as the 36 streets and the Ho Chi Minh Complex. Also on the tour - the Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple, the Temple of Literature and one of the city's museums, either the History Museum or the Ethnology Museum.Itinerary
08.00 - Pick up at hotel and visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex which includes his Mausoleum and former residences, as well as the Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda and the Museum.
10.15 - Continue onto Vietnams first University, The Temple Of Literature, built in 1070.
11.30 - Have lunch at one of Hanoi’s many fine restaurants.
13.30 - Visit either the Museum of Ethnology or the History Museum.
15.30 - Visit the Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake.
16.45 - One hour cyclo tour through the Old Quarter.
17.45 Return to your hotel or watch a performance of the famous Water Puppet Theatre.
DAY 10: HANOI FLIGHT TO DANANG, VISIT CHAM. OVERNIGHT THE NAM HAI RESORT(B)
Transfer to airport for your flight to Danang VN 315 1005 1120 , visit Cham museum in Danang where display fine artifacts of Cham people. Continue to the charming little township of Hoian with old houses, temples.

DAY 11: HOIAN COOKERY CLASS. OVERNIGHT THE NAM HAI RESORT(B,L)
This morning, transfer to Miss Vy’s School of Cooking where visitors from all over the globe have learned Miss Vy’s traditional family recipes. This cooking course includes shopping for ingredients at the Hoi An Central Market before returning to the school by cyclo to learn how it’s done. Once the meals are prepared you can enjoy the dishes you have spent the time mastering.

DAY 12: HOIAN OVERNIGHT THE NAM HAI RESORT(B)
This morning, from your hotel, we start our half-day walking tour through the narrow winding streets of the Ancient Quarter visiting Chua Ong Pagoda, Chinese Assembly Halls, the 200- year old Tam Ky ancestral house and the Japanese Bridge. After lunch, we take a short boat ride to a nearby island to visit a handicraft village specializing in ceramics and also the boat building yards.

DAY 13: HOIAN OVERNIGHT THE NAM HAI RESORT(B)
This morning we have an excursion is given on a flower-garden with ornamental plants. Go along a canal getting through the village to see rice fields and mint farm that can provide green vegetables for Hoi An ancient town.

Overnight in Hoian.

Free leisure until our transfer to airport for your flight to next destination.
