We have just arrived back in Australia from our trip visiting Cambodia and Vietnam.
Both Susan and I congratulate DISCOVERY INDOCHINA on the way the trip was organised. The guides were very good and were always at the arrival destination when we flew in.
They were excellent ambassadors for their countries. In particular the guides in Saigon and Hanoi were exceptional. Nhi in Saigon was so enthusiastic about her country it was a pleasure being shown the city by her. Doan in Hanoi was also worthy of a special mention. He obviously has a great love for the city, its history and recent progress and this was evident in the way he guided us around. Also worthy of special mention was the driver Mr Ding (I think that was his name). His skill and calm in otherwise chaotic traffic was most reassuring.
The choices of hotels was outstanding. All were great and we only have praise for the staff and the way they looked after us.
The cruise on the Mekong with the Pandaw was the highlight of the trip. It was a great way to travel the Mekong.
Thanks again for making it such an enjoyable tour.
