From concept to implementation, our intentions remained firm: The River Resort would be integral to its natural environment. As a result, the native flora and fauna were preserved; all mature indigenous trees were protected, some more than 20 meters in height and more than 100 years old; and to this day they tower over our lush, tropical landscape, inhabited according to local tradition by protective spirits

The Riverside Sala is our open-air dining room and daytime café, with a lounging area and bar for conversation from early evening until late at night. Pool and room service too.

Our Chef and Laotian cooks excel in western, Thai and Laotian cuisine. The freshest fish, pork and tasty local and New Zealand beef, fresh and nutritious local vegetables from the Pakse wet market, and delicious, home-made desserts, ice creams and sorbets.
We also offer alfresco dining on our Mekong Riverside, outdoor BBQ on request; private dining for parties of up to 6 guests in our Riverside Pavilion; and on the rooftop deck of the Riverside Sala, overlooking the Mekong and our Parkland, we offer dinner and cocktails while you enjoy the sun set over the Resort and watch the moon and stars at night.
