I am now back in my home, dreaming about my last trip…WOW, it was a great trip.
I will try to go over my pictures (over 1,000…) today or during the week and send you some.
Unfortunately I have to work around the house to be prepared for the Quebec winter…and Monday back to work with A LOT of work on my desk.
PS: when I said that Sophorn in Siem Reap stayed with me for the 2 nights… I just want to clarify that it was the evening and as a guide…to avoid confusion.
He came with me at the night market in the downtown to show me the night activities (restaurants, bars, souvenirs shops, Foot massages including a beer (I paid him one foot massage as well, for that price why not !!:-). It was full of tourists. Something that he was not oblige to do. So, I really appreciated that he took his time to show me that part of Siem Reap.
Same for the wonderful Phuong Vy. She was talking to me all days and evenings even when there was no activities. She was not obliged to do that. It shows her professionalism to not leave a client alone.
I am still remember her smile and laughing. She is a great gentile guide. You made a good choice for me.
Of course, all my nights were alone in my different rooms during all my trip in Asia. (Again to avoid speculation 🙂
I thank you again for the wonderful trip that I had with the Discovery Indochina and I will recommend all my friends and family to try it one day.
I will personally think to go again in your region if I can have another 3 weeks vacation. To return to Vietnam, now that I have friends in Saigon and Hanoi…:-) and Thailand, Cambodia again or a another near country (Laos,…)
I like the people mentality in this area of the world and what about the excellent food…
