Our customer, who comes from Melbourne – Australia, was recommended by a friend and chose Discovery Indochina for an entire Vietnam holiday. All of the arrangements were done via email with “their great team member, Ms. Giang.” They had a chance to visit Hoi An, Hue, Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ho Chi Minh. We were responsible for booking all of internal flights, accommodation, transfers and Halong Bay cruise on her behalf. “It was very helpful to have drivers to pick us up from airports (we found taxi drivers a bit too keen to rip us off…).” She also had a 4am pick up from hotel in Ho Chi Minh to catch an early international flight “so it was very helpful that this transfer was pre-organised.” She felt very secure because “we had support whilst we were there in case of any issues.”
We arranged the 3 star and local run accommodation as they wished. Miss Giang also organised either interconnecting or adjacent rooms for them as they have teenage children. “Special mention also to Lilly who looked after us in Hanoi and Alice that took us on our complimentary street food tour of the Hanoi old quarter.”
