Hello Miss Xuyen.
It was nice to meet you and your colleague when we were in Hanoi. We have only just returned home after 7 weeks of travel and I thought that I would give you some feedback on our hotels and guides/drivers.
Hotels:-
All were good, some were excellent, but the Auberge Phouphadeng at Xiengkhuang was terrible! In fact we refused to stay there and your local agent/guide (Saylom “Yen”) was very good and arranged an alternative hotel at no extra cost (a good recovery).
Also the Elephant Crossing hotel at Vang Vieng was not very good, it was old and in poor condition (for example the sink taps were loose and the handle was not fixed) this is not a hotel to recommend.
Guides/Drivers:-
All were good except the driver from Sihanoukville to Pnom Penh. He was late arriving at the Tamu hotel, then he made a stop for fuel within 10 minutes (he should have done this before arriving at the hotel). The car was old, slow and dirty and he stopped again after 15 minutes to collect big cartons of live crabs to deliver to Pnom Penh, and we had to put all of our luggage inside the car. He stopped again after 2 hours for his lunch, then again after another 30 minutes for fuel again. So the journey was 4.5 hours instead of 3.5 hours. We did have enough time to catch our flights fortunately.
Overall we were pleased again with your organisation and we will use you again in the future.
I hope that you had a nice weekend.
Kind regards,
