Itinerary

Day 1: Siem Reap Arrival    

   
Arrived in “Siem Reap”, you and your family will be transferred to your accommodation (Early check-in is NOT included and subject to hotel’s availability). Until the delicious dinner in a local restaurant, you can take your time, to familiarize yourself with your new surroundings.

Day 2: Siem Reap – City Tour by Tuk Tuk & Kayaking in Tonle Sap Lake

   
After breakfast in your accommodation, you will take a city tour by a tuk tuk to visit the local pagodas and to learn many things about the Buddhism. Get interaction with Buddhist Monk and get some advises from them about the peace of your mind. In the heart of “Siem Reap town”, you will find the amazing pagoda “Wat Damnak”. It is one of the most beautiful pagodas in town. Bring candles and incense sticks to the pagoda and participate in a private good luck blessing ceremony, performed by local monks which reside at the temple. Sit on the mat while the monks chant blessings and sprinkle holy water on you – a traditional way which is believed pass on the good luck of the gods. Afterwards, a sacred thread will be tied around your wrist. This will protect you from any evil spirits or accidents. Before you will continue your journey, you will receive a small keepsake from the monks to remind you of this special moment. In the afternoon you continue to visit “Tonle Sap Lake” by a local boat, and enjoy the kayaking through the floating villages and explore the magnificent mangrove forest. At the end of the day, you will be transferred to your accommodation.

Day 3: Hike to Phnom Kulen and Waterfall for camping

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will be transferred by a private vehicle to “Phnom Kulen”. Arrived at the feet of the mountain, the trekking to the “Preah Ang Chop Pagoda” will start. You walk to the top of the mountain to visit the “1000 lingas”, “Preah Ang Thom”, and you will enjoy the unique experience to swim at the feet of the 32 meter high waterfall while small fishes gives you a massage. Lunch will be provided at a wonderful place nearby the waterfall. After lunch you continue the trekking tour through the jungle and small villages to visit the natural cave which is called “Bat Cave”. The next station of the trekking tour is “Srah Damrey” where you will see the lion, and elephant carving on the original stone from the 9th century. Before the darkness breaks in, you walk to your accommodation, the pagoda “Wat Preah Kral”, where you will get a delicious traditional dinner and a night stay in a tent.

Day 4: Phnom Kulen – Beng Melea & Relaxation in Siem Reap

Early in the morning you will be transferred down from the mountain to have breakfast in a local restaurant in the village “Banteay Srei”. After breakfast you continue your trip to the most remote and ruins temples of “Boeng Mealea” which are located 60 km east of the main group of the temples at “Angkor Wat”. The primary material is sandstone and it is surrounded by moats. The temple is largely overrun by vegetation and the stone walls are crumbling which adds to its charm in a unique way. Before lunchtime you will be returned to your accommodation in “Siem Reap”. For the rest of the day you can relax and enjoy the facilities of your accommodation or you can explore the area around your hotel at your own leisure.

Day 5: Siem Reap – Cycling and Gibbon flight in Angkor temples

   
        

After breakfast in your accommodation, you and your family will be transferred to the “Angkor” area. You will start your trip through “Angkor” with a visit of the famous temples at “Angkor Wat” - one of the world’s most impressive ruins. Next you will visit the picturesque temple “Ta Prohm” which is nearly disappeared into the jungle. The magnificent roots of the trees which pushing between the huge stone blocks of the temple in a sort of embrace, creates a unique picture which you will keep in your mind maybe forever. Before we will show you the mysterious Royal city “Angkor Thom” and the surroundings of the complex including the “Baphou, Elephant Terraces”, the “Lepper King Terrace” and the “Royal Place area”, you will make an unforgettable experience which is known as the “Gibbon Flight”. At the end of the day, you will be transferred back to your accommodation in “Siem Reap”.

Day 6: Siem Reap – Quad Bikes

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will explore the Cambodian countryside in a completely new and funny way. Enjoy a quad bike tour through the paddy fields and local villages to the adventures dirt trails. You will meet monks, local villagers and students which returning home from school. Continue to the top of a small mountain where you can become a witness of the amazing sunset over the rural plains of Cambodia. After you return the quad bikes, you will be transferred by a private vehicle to your accommodation.

Day 7: Siem Reap – Phnom Penh

 

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will be transferred to the airport to fly by an airplane to the capital city “Phnom Penh” (Air tickets are not included, it is USD 110 per person and price for children is 75% of adult). Arrived in “Phnom Penh” you and your family will be transferred to your accommodation (Early check-in is NOT included & subject to hotel’s availability). First you will take a city tour to visit the “Royal Place” (built in 1866 by King Norodom) and the “Silver Pagoda”. Next you will start a bicycle tour from the “Independent Monument” along the “Norodom Blv” to visit the legendary “Wat Phnom” where you will get a fantastic view over the surrounding areas. At the end of the day, we will bring you back to your accommodation.

Day 8: Phnom Penh – Boat Ride Mekong River

After breakfast in your accommodation, you and your family will embark on a local boat to cruise to the “Mekong Islands” (the bikes for your family will already be provided on the boat). Arrived on the island, you will visit local houses where you will make a lot of new experience. In one of these local houses, a family will provide a delicious homemade lunch. After lunch you will cycle to other parts of the islands and you will visit one of the local primary schools. Before dinner, you return with your family to your accommodation in “Phnom Penh” by a boat. The rest of the day you can relax and enjoy the facilities of your accommodation.

Day 9: Phnom Penh – Sihanouk Ville

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will be transferred by a private vehicle to your new accommodation in “Siahnouk Ville”.

Day 10: Sihanouk Ville – Free at leisure

You will have free time at your own leisure with your family in the great atmosphere of “Sihanouk Ville”.

Day 11: Sihanouk Ville – Phnom Penh – Departure

After breakfast in your accommodation, you will be transferred to the “Phnom Penh International Airport” for departure.
