Itinerary

Itinerary in details:

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL
Welcome to Vietnam. Our car will pick up your family at the airport and transfer to the hotel in Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI CITY TOUR (B,L)
Have breakfast at hotel. This morning, you and family will visit Ho Chi Minh complex includes Ho Chi Minh mausoleum the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or Uncle Ho, Ba Dinh square where Ho Chi Minh read the declaration of Independence, Presidential Palace, Uncle Ho’s House on stilt, One pillar pagoda. Then, you will visit Museum of Ethnology where your children definitely love dicovering ethnic houses. Camera is ready on your hands to capture happy moments here.
Have lunch at a local restaurant.
Afternoon, your family will visit one of traditional handicraft villages nearby Hanoi center. These village are very famous for handicraft products which are beautiful ideal souvenirs for you and your friends. Just pick one to explore:
- Bat Trang ceramic village
- Van Phuc silk village
- Ha Thai lacquer village
Overnight in Hanoi.

Note: When you visit temples and pagodas in Vietnam, please wear formal clothes (Shirt/T-shirts over your shoulders, trousers over your knees)

DAY 3: HANOI - HALONG BAY (B, L, D)
Enjoy a relaxing 2-day, 1-night cruise through the stunning Ha Long Bay and Bai Tu Long bay. Dine on traditional Vietnamese cuisine, take advantage of fun activities like kayaking in the sunset, and admire the spectacular landscape here. Your family will have chances to interact with locals and discover the art of nature. Enjoy your night on boat with cooking demonstration and squid fishing.
Overnight on boat.

DAY 4: HALONG BAY - HANOI (B, L)
Get up a little bit early to see other boats hoisting their sails. Joining Tai Chi execise on sun deck, you will have a great feeling to continue your trip, starting with discovering Sung Sot cave (Suprising cave).
Your cruise will disembark around 12:30 PM. Say goodbye to Halong, transfer to Hanoi.
Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 5: HANOI - TAM COC - BIKING TO BICH DONG (B, L)
8:00: Get ready at the lobby of the hotel, your family will be driven to Tam Coc called Halong Bay on land. Enjoy 2 hour boating along Ngo Dong river to explore 3 caves and admire beautiful landsape here.
Back to habour for lunch. Afternoon, be happy with a short biking tour to through peaceful countryside road Bich Dong
Your tour will end at around 4h30.
Drive back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 6: HANOI - FLIGHT TO HUE (B)
Having breakfast at your hotel, free until our car pick you up and drive to Noi Bai airport for domestic flight to Hue.
Overnight in Hue

DAY 7: HUE CITY TOUR (B, L)
To day, your family will discover the imperial monuments of Hue, former capital of Vietnam, and delight along with the loyal locals at a host of UNESCO World Heritage attractions. Located on the banks of the Perfume River, Hue boats amazing citadels, fabulous palaces, and royal tombs. Many of the sites can be reached by river, and a boat cruise is part of your adventure.
Start by visiting the ornate mausoleums of Emperor Minh Mang, Emperor Khai Dinh, and Emperor Tu Duc on Vong Canh Hill. Learn about the philosophy of geomancy, and how this affected royal life. En route, you will stop to learn how the iconic conical hats of Vietnam are made, as well as discover how to produce incense sticks.
After lunch at a local restaurant, explore the Imperial Citadel of the Nguyen Dynasty at sites such as the 7-storey Thien Mu Pagoda, set on the banks of the river. The sprawling complex of moats and palaces offers a respite from the noise of the city.
Return to central Hue by boat, cruising along the gentle Perfume River for another perspective of the proud and noble city.
Overnight in Hue.

DAY 8: HUE - MY SON RELICS - HOI AN (B)
Morning: transfer to Hoi An, stop over at Marble mountains (Ngu Hanh Son). Five peaks stand for five elements of nature: metal, wood, water, fire and earth. Enjoy a bit of a climb to enjoy panorama view of Ngu Hanh Son and the surroundings. Drive to Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
If your children are under 10 years, we will transfer directly to Hoi An and stay free at beach.

DAY 9: HOI AN BIKING AND COOKING CLASS (B, L)
This morning enjoy a biking tour to Tran Que herb village. In this place your family will participate in activities of the local residents’ daily life in the old time such as bailing out water with long handles buckets, pounding rice, lifting fishing nets, etc.
Local farmers will take you to see vegetable gardens and instruct you the techniques of planting and cultivating many kinds of vegetables planted in the gardens. You will personally cut, tie in bundles, reap the vegetables to bring home for processing food.
Back to Tra Que’s family house, enjoy "foot massage" before working together with our family chef to learn the traditional ways of preparing and cooking Vietnamese food. Then, we sit down and a chance to savour the dishes we have prepared.
Afternoon, back to Hoi An town. Free time to discover ancient town. Overnight in Hoi An.

Option: We visit Cam Thanh village and learn how to catch fish.

DAY 10: HOI AN - MAKING LANTERNS (B)
8am: our local guide will meet you at the hotel’s lobby and you will ride a bicycle to the home of a craftsman in the city. Here you will get a brief introduction to the history, shape, and color of the lanterns as well as the many stages of making them. Then , you will be shown how to decorate and make your own lanterns.you can also keep it as a souvenir

DAY 11: HOI AN - FLY TO SAIGON (B)
Drive to Da Nang for flight to Saigon.
Up on arrival to Tan Son Nhat airport, your family will be picked up and transfer to your hotel for checking in.
Overnight in Sai Gon

DAY 12: HO CHI MINH - CAI BE - MEKONG DELTA (B, L, D)
Pick up from your hotel and transfer to Cai Be.
The program will start with a visit of Cai Be colorful floating market cruising among local barges full of fruits and vegetables by the luxury boat. Then, an optional stop can be made at local workshops where you can see how to make rice paper, coconut candy and pop-rice, pop-corn ...
It is so interesting to visit the handicraft village where you can see how they make some special products: making rice-net for spring-rolls, fish sauce & Soya sauce, cooking salt, sewing coconut-leaves for cottage roof...
The best lunch will be served at local house
After lunch, the rowing boat will take you deeper into the countryside on smaller canals and to enjoy the peaceful time. It is so interesting to see traditional houses made of wood and palm tree leaves and see some activities of the local farmers with an opportunity to make contacts with them and see how they catch fish or pick up fruits by ancestral ways in Mekong Delta.
Then, we visit nursery garden for you to contact the real famous farmers – Mr Tiger or his son who is very successful in Vietnam agriculture. Have some fruits and tea when enjoying the traditional music at Ut Trinh home.
Check in Ut Trinh homestay (or other home-stay on An Binh Island).
One more thing to do in this trip is biking! It will be so amazing to bike on village paths to see the local farms, houses, real life and the ancestral ways to pick up fruits in Mekong Delta..
Cooking some dishes with the owners. We enjoy diner and have cup of tea or rice wine when talking together. You can ask the locals about the culture, people, history of this Island. They do not mind to answer some personal questions. Overnight in a private room of local house

DAY 13: CAI BE - VINH LONG (B)
Have a breakfast and walk along the village to enjoy the fresh air in the morning. Boat trip to visit the brick kilns where you can see how the local people create beautiful potteries from clay.
Our boat will go along the floating village. We will learn how to farm catfish on Mekong river. We can visit Vinhlong market in the town. This is the best choice for you to take pictures of fish, shrimps, prawns, crabs, snakes, rice-field rats, tropical fruits, vegetables...
The cruise will end at Vinh Long city.
Drive back to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon

DAY 14: SAIGON DEPARTURE (B)
Free time until our car pick you up and drive to the airport for departure. Hope you and family have great holiday in Vietnam. See you next trip!
