Day 01: Arrival - Ha Noi
Met and transferred upon arrival to our hotel. Ha Noi , Vietnam’s capital , is one thousand year old city with green lakes, French styled buildings, old quarter streets, tree lined boulevards, brightly painted temples and pagodas. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 02:Ha Noi - Mai Chau - Hang Kia
Heading out of town we travel by road to Mai Chau Region. This mountainous region is home to the Muong, Hmong, White Thai ethnic minority groups whom you will have the opportunity to meet on your expedition.Trek through 4 hours to Xalinh and Paco to Hang Kia. Meet and interaction with friendly Hmong tribal people. Overnight at Hang Kia village. (B,L,D)
Day 03: Hang Kia - Van village
Breakfast and embark on our lovely trekking down the valley through the mountain to hidden villages of Van. The trekking is difficult at times with some steep uphill and downhill walking, but the views and scenic landscape will make up for our effort. The trek requires however some physical preparation to enable you to fully appreciate today's trek. Overnight at Thai minority village. (B,L,D)
Day 04: Van- Poomcong village
The spectacular countryside and simple lifestyle of the Thai ethnic minority people are a highlight of Mai Chau valley although conditions are very basic. En route to Sam Khoe we have the chance to meet local people, all friendly and welcoming. Overnight at Poomcong village. (B,L,D)
Day 05: Poomcong- Cuc Phuong
This morning we spend time walking out of Mai Chay Valley before we take a short drive to Cuc Phuong National Park. On arrival, we enjoy a guided visit to Cuc Phuong Museum and Zoo garden. Overnight in Cuc Phuong. (B,L,D)
Day 06: Cuc Phuong National Park
We continue our way into the national park of Cuc Phuong. A trekking of six hours give us a great opportunity to explore one of Vietnam most beautiful primeval forests and study the Muong tribal people 's culture. A long the way, a picnic lunch will be organized. Tonight we diner and overnight at Muong village. (B,L,D)
Day 07: Cuc Phuong - Ninh Binh
We have 2 lovely morning hike through rice fields and village to the meeting point where we are taken on to KenhGa rural village where
we boat our boat for a cruise a long small river to visit the quaint village by the river. The area is also one of astounding natural beauty with limestone peaks whose splendor is often said to surpass that of Ha Long Bay. It is true that this area is often referred to as the Ha Long Bay on land. The excursion being rowed along the Boi River, which makes for a truly unforgettable experience, passing between towering limestone peaks.Overnight in Ninh Binh. (B,L)
Day 08: Ninh Binh - Ha Long
Breakfast and head out on our journey through lush vegetation of Redriver Delat to Halong bay. Stop en route to take in such views and get insight into local lifew. Visit Keo Pagoda in Thaibinh. This is one of the most wonderful pagoda in Vietnam. Arrival Halong bay check into our hotel. Overnight in Halong bay.(B,L)
Day 09: Ha Long - Ha Noi
This morning, we embark on a cruise for an stunning exploration of breathtaking limestone backdrops blending with the sky and some 3,000 limestone islands rising amazingly from the clear and emerald water. Along the way we will anchor for a leisurely swim in a secluded cove. Visit caves, floating village. We are treated to a fresh lunch on board . Return Hanoi in the afternoon. (B,L)
Day 10: Ha Noi
City tour to visit Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum ,One Pillard Pagoda, the Temple of Literature - Vietnam’s first university and the interesting Museum of Ethnology, the beautiful lake of Hoan Kiem with its sacred temple. Balance of the day will be a strolls amongst the mazes of vibrant old quarter. Evening water puppet show.
Overnight in Ha Noi. (B,L)
Day 11: Departure
Breakfast at the hotel
At leisure till the departure transfer to airport for your flight home. (B)
