The Project is located in the quiet and peaceful Khe Ro forest, which remains in its unspool natural state, unaffected or unexpected by humans.
The Khe Ro Nature Reserve consists of 5.456,9 ha (54.569km²) natural land, in the An Lac commune, east of Son Dong district, 150 km (about 95 miles) outside of Hanoi. It is part of the Tay Yen Tu Nature Reserve.
Khe Ro Nature Reserve is located in the North East low mountains and hills of Vietnam. The altitude increases gradually from North East to South West and the height varies between 100-650 m.
On the North East of Khe Ro Nature Reserve are many earth and limestone mountains.
The annual average temperature is 22oC and there are approximately 100 rainy days per year, especially between June and September.
The average humidity is around 82%, and the highest ever measured was 90% in the rainy season with the lowest being 75% in the dry season. However at times from across the surrounding rice field plains a warm breeze can also provide more comfortable feel to counter these humid conditions.
