Itinerary

Day1: Saigon arrival (D)

Welcome to Sai Gon-the economic centre of Vietnam. After pick you up at the airport and check in Cinnamon hotel in Sai Gon, you have free leisure time to explore this beautiful city by yourself.

In the evening: Enjoy lovely street food tour and get insight into city people and amazing Saigon by nite.

Stay overnight in Saigon.

Day2: Saigon – Cai Be – My Thuan – Sa Dec – Cai Be (L, D)

Pick up at your hotel in Saigon and transfer you to Cai Be pier, boarding Cochinchine boat. Enjoy welcome drink and continue to Cai Thia while lunch is served on boat.

Embark on a lovely cycling excursion on the bank of the peninsula browsing several verdant villages. Visit of the gardens and orchards, local houses and ample opportunity meet with people and get insight into Delta life. Continue toward Sa Dec-a nice and quite town overlooking Mekong river.

Walking along village path and get yourself acquaintance with rural activities as farmers farm their fields. Visit bricks and tiles kilns and the manufacture of earthenware pots on a bank of river.

Walk or cycle amongst the ever blossoming Sa Dec flower village, local industries and Cao Dai Temple, the local market, following the track of French novelist Marguerite Duras.

Back to the boat for a cruise downstream. Relax on boat while enjoying a foot massage and sipping an aperitif.

Dinner and overnight on boat.

 Day3: Cai Be – Mang Thit – Tra On (B, L, D)

Breakfast on board on the Mekong and then visit Binh Hoa Phuoc Island and go for walk through the islets, sampling native fruits viewing local handicraft production and meet the local people.

Transfer to a local boat for an extensive visit Cai Be: the floating market, the mazes of waterway, local pop-rice and sweets production, the old house. Le Cochinchine continues its cruise to Co Chien. Lunch served on board.

In the afternoon, embark on a pleasant walk or cycling on the foot-paths of the countryside to discover the tropical fruit orchards, the endless rice fields and the local people’s activities.

Boarding back, complimentary drink as a welcome back on board. Open bar and rest on the deck enjoying the sunset.

The crew will serve dinner while the Le Cochinchine is cruising Mang Thit River.

Overnight on board.

Day4: Tra On – Can Tho – Phu Quoc (B)

Breakfast on board. The morning bobbling commotion of Mekong river life comes to life for another lovely day. Our boat sets sails to Can Tho through tributaries, canals and arroyos.

Transfer to Cai Rang by local boat, one of the most bustling and important floating markets in the whole Mekong Delta.

Sliding on tiny waterways between palm-shaded banks, the local boat leads you to see green orchards, local house, ship building yards, rural and river activities in full swing and enjoy tropical fruits.

Disembark at Ninh Kieu pier in Can Tho.

Have a short relax before transfer you to the Can Tho airport to take flight to Phu Quoc.

Stay overnight in Phu Quoc

Day5: Phu Quoc visit the South and East (B)

After breakfast, visiting the pearl farm of Australian (the real pearl make in Phu Quoc Island) and the vestigate of coconut prison (building in French and American War).

Afterward, discover daily activities of fishermen at An Thoi port and dry seafood market. Go to the Sao beach, swimming, sunbath and enjoy fresh seafood.

In the afternoon: Visit Ham Ninh fishing village.

Stay overnight in Phu Quoc

Day6: Phu Quoc departure (B)

After breakfast, you have free leisure time for whole morning.

Turn back to the hotel at noon to check out and say good bye with the beautiful Island.
