Passport and Visa
A valid Passport with Entry Visa is required of all visitors. A Tourist Visa allows a stay of 28 days, extendible for an additional 14 days. A Business Visa allows a stay of 28 days, extendible up to 12 months on a case-by-case basis. Visa on Arrival is granted on prior arrangement with the Ministry of Hotels and Tourism.
Myanmar Visa upon Arrival Information
In accordance with the rules and regulations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Hotel and Tourism, an authorized travel and tours company can obtain the Visa On Arrival (VOA) if their clients do not get the visa from the Myanmar Embassy. To do so, the company needs their client’s personal data and information as shown below:
Full name as in passport
Date of birth and place of birth
Full address in native country:
Arrival and departure date to/from Myanmar.
International Flight number and airline which you will fly to/from Myanmar (So we will inform the airline and you can enter without visa in your passport)
