In the chain of our charitable trips, we had the chance to visit Thai Binh Province-the granary of the North of Vietnam. The immense paddies, the perfume of rice and strangely peaceful landscapes are the first impressions when we visited the village in Thai Binh.
We departed from Dina office at 6:30 A.M in Hanoi and went on the 5B national route then the 4th highway to Thai Thuan village, Thai Thuy district, Thai Binh province. After 3 hours, we reached to the house of Ms Ngoc-one of the member in our company, and enjoyed many special plats of this marine village.

Saying “goodbye” to the people at Thai Thuan, we continued the trip to Nam Hung, Tien Hai district where we are warmly welcomed by relatives of the families of Mr. Tuan, another member of Dina. In there, a Mid-Autumn Festival had been prepared for children, the elderly who live in the village of Tan Trao. Before the party, we set aside time to walk around the village, visit some residents’ houses and take beautiful photos.

At 7:30 in the evening, the music sounded both the lively evening began. The dances were very sweet, original comedy based on a traditional fairy tale of Vietnamese made everyone laugh.
We had a good rest and good time with friendly people, especially with children. No words can describe our feelings. “It’s perfect” is the phrase that everyone has mentioned after the end of the evening.
Mid-Autumn Festival was ended in the applause of everyone. It seems that the weather has supported us during the trip. It was cool and rainy a little bit. We passed a very quiet night with the locals.
The morning in the village has made us feel comfortable. Light winds bringing rice aroma of vast fields made us refresh. The beautiful beach of Con Vanh appeared in front of us immensely endless. The water waves accompanied with whitening foam was thrown on shore.
We went for a walk about 2.4km on the beach to visit Ba Lat lighthouse, the soul of the sea of Thai Binh. After that, an exquisite breakfast was served with a variety of seafood: shrimp, jellyfish, fish, and clams. After lunch, we had time to rest and buy some souvenirs for our friends. On the way back to Hanoi, we discover Dong Xam village, a traditional craft village for a long time in Thai Binh. In there, we were impressed by the number of objects, particularly paintings that are finely carved by the hands of local people.
This trip ended in echo smiles, dances, especially unforgettable moments. We returned to Hanoi filled with joy and promise of a next significant trip.
