Floating Market is a unique culture of the West River. Meetings on the river all day, but usually the busiest in the morning.

The market is a place where local people buy and sell, where local people exchange produce, farm produce, food, etc.
Boats usually do not have signs. The boat’s characteristic is that there is a few pole on each boat, on which hangs products such as fruits, vegetables … They call this “cay beo”. For example, on the boat “TG”, the boat from Tien Giang. Floating Market is a gathering place of many residents from all over the country.

Nga Bay Floating Market 



Nga Bay Floating Market, also known as Phung Hiep Floating Market, is located in Nga Bay Town, which was established in 1915. It is a famous market of Hau Giang Province. Visitors will see the colorful scene of fruits, vegetables, water and living utensils. Especially the bright red of rambutan, mangosteen, the aroma of durian. Have a chance to come here to try floating on the water and enjoy the morning coffee is definetly awesome.



Nga Nam Floating Market



This is a famous market in Nga Nam town, Soc Trang province, located at the intersection of five rivers: Ca Mau, Vinh Quoi, Long My, Thanh Tri and Phung Hiep. This is the longest and most crowded in the Mekong Delta. Unlike other floating markets, Nga Nam market starts from 3am to 8am. This market has most of the products of the Mekong Delta from the delicious rice, vegetables and fruits from the South Vietnamese garden to the aquatic products of the river. Nga Nam Floating Market is still idyllic, but still retains the typical soul of the Western floating market.



Cai Rang Floating Market



Only about 4 km from Ninh Kieu wharf, visitors only take 30 minutes to visit the most famous floating market of Tay Do area. Especially in this market is the trade of the famous fruits of the southern region from Vinh Long pomelos to the Lai Vung mandarin or Cai Mon durian …Coming to Cai Rang, visitors will be immersed in nature, rivers.



Cai Be Floating Market 



Cai Be Floating Market is a meeting place of the three provinces of Tien Giang, Vinh Long and Ben Tre. The market is a place for buying and selling goods, exchanging fruit and vegetables, and going to be the attractions of Tien Giang province. Cai Be market starts trading from dawn until late at night. Sitting on the boat, enjoying a bowl of noodles or a cup of aromatic coffee in the morning is an unforgettable experience in life. As the sun goes down, “floating street” lights on, shimmering lights make the whole river come alive, vibrantly colorful.



Long Xuyen Floating Market



Long Xuyen Floating Market is about 2 km from Long Xuyen City, located along one side of the Red River with heavy sediment.
