Itinerary in details:

 

Day1: Hanoi arrival (D)

Welcome to Hanoi. After pick up and transfer you to the hotel, you have leisure time to enjoy a walk around hotel located in the most amazing part of Hanoi Old Quarter.

5:00 PM:  Enjoy fabulous street food in Hanoi before back to the hotel.

Stay overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day2: Hanoi city tour (B)

After breakfast at the hotel and have full day to discover the stylish and gracious city.

In the morning: visit popular sites in Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh Complex where you can know more about Ho Chi Minh-the remarkable man. And then, visit One Pillar Pagoda-one of the most special pagoda in Vietnam which built over the water in the middle of a square lake. To finish the visiting at the morning, you transfer to Temple of Literature-the first university of Vietnam with unique structure.

In the afternoon: Visit Ethnology Museum where showcases the depth of Vietnamese cultural diversity with an astounding collection of 15,000 artifacts gathered from throughout Vietnam. Enjoy  Water Puppet Show.

Stay overnight in the lovely capital of Vietnam.

 

 

Day3: Hanoi-Duong Lam village-Tay Phuong pagoda (B,L)

After breakfast at hotel, transfer to Duong Lam village- a purely agricultural village of the Northern Red River delta which still preserves many hundred-year-old houses. Visit Mong Phu temple in Mong Phu commune – the only hamlet whose original village entrance remains intact. Continue on through the narrow alleys to see the old laterite houses which make up this charming village. For lunch enjoy a local style meal in a 100-year old house. After lunch, continue driving to Mia Pagoda (another hamlet of Duong Lam), built in the 15th century, some 287 statues of all sizes can be seen here, among which are famous sculptures such as the statue of Buddha and the statues of the ‘Eight Vajra Deities’. Then, visit Ngo Quyen temple and Phung Hung temple, places dedicated to two national heroes – Ngo Quyen and Phung Hung. On the way back to Hanoi stop at Tay Phuong Pagoda. The pagoda offers beautiful architecture and ancient and unique sculptures.

Day4: Hanoi - Mai Chau - Cycling Mai Chau valley (B,L,D)

 

After breakfast at the hotel, we transfer to Mai Chau. On the way, stop off at the Mai Chau Valley look out before arriving in the tranquil village of Mai Chau. Traditional lunch will be served in the beautiful surrounds of our homestay. In the afternoon enjoy a 2-3 hour guided bicycle ride taking in the local villages and minority tribes. Learn about the local culture 1st hand and really get a feel for rural Vietnam.

Stay over in Mai Chau.

 

Day5: Mai Chau- trekking remote villages (B,L,D)

 

Enjoy the peaceful morning in Mai Chau with the local breakfast; and then visit by trekking more remote rural villages Na Meo, Na Mo and Xam Pa villages to understand more about their culture and customs. Picnic lunch on trek remote villages.

Back to the boutique hotel and enjoy the traditional dance of Thai people in the evening.

Overnight in Mai Chau.

 

Day6: Mai Chau-Hanoi (B,L)              

Breakfast at the hotel and visiting the local market where there are a lot of special items of Thai’s people. And you have free time for buying and relaxing before take the care to come back Hanoi.

 

Stay over night in Hanoi.

 

 

Day7: Hanoi-Halong-cruise boat trip (B,L,D)

After brackefast at hotel in Hanoi,  pick up and transfer you to Ha Long bay.

When going to Ha Long-the paradise on the earth,  You’ll have over one day in V’Spirit Classic Cruise to discover the maleficent beauty of Halong like Sung Sot Cave – the most beautiful cave in Halong Bay and enjoy beautiful seascape on the way.

The late afternoon is time to enjoy beautiful seascape on the way as well as Cooking class and sunset party on sundeck. Dinner is served.

Overnight on board.

 

Day8:Halong bay-Lan Ha Bay (B,L,D)

Start the day early to enjoy a Tai Chi class on top deck with an opportunity to admit the magnificent scenery of sunrise over the sea. After that, Transfer to a day boat for a cruise to Lan Ha Bay and have breakfast on boat. Explore the Light and Dark cave by kayak.

Return to the day boat. Relax and enjoy a barbecue lunch on board.

In the afternoon: Visit a Pearl Farm and learn the technique for making high quality pearls. Cruise back to the main boat. Enjoy dinner and overnight on board.

 

Day9: Lan Ha Bay-Halong Bay-Hanoi(B,L)

Have breakfast on board while the boat starts cruising to the Natural Preservation Zone.

Kayaking to explore around the area or visit a floating house and learn about the daily life of fisherman.

Return to the boat and check out of your cabin

Rejoin the Car to Hanoi and stay overnight in Hanoi.

 

Day10: Hanoi departure (B)

 

After breakfast. At leisure time.
